More about Aged Red Wine Vinegar

For years our Red Wine Vinegar was made here in the Barossa. We sold in in our 375 ml bottles, but it was also such an important ingredient in the making of our sauces, sugos and vino cotto. The difference in quality of using a top class vinegar, made by the Orlenais method, and a straight commercial one, was huge so when our local winery were unable to supply us because of a technical issue they had with their stock we looked further afield.

There is probably only one wine maker in Australia that only makes vinegars and so on meeting we took the step for this to be made for us to the same flavour and quality parameters. We certainly couldn’t be without a quality vinegar that made such a difference to our cooking and also wanted to keep supply for our customers who had supported us over the years. Now our local winery is back in business with the quality vinegar so we are sharing our needs between both businesses, the local, and the one in Queensland, who was able to help us through this non supply issue.
