Deep red in colour with crimson hues. Classic blackcurrant, redcurrants and subtle oak on the nose give way to juicy black plums, firm tannins and oaky toastiness on the palate. A great easy drinking wine. Excellent value.
Short term; drink now
In 2000, 2 acres of unloved Sylvanna vines were grafted to Shiraz which are now coming into balance. The result, a great, fruity, easy drinking style of wine.
Could be served slightly chilled in summer.
BBQ fare, soft mid cheeses, swordfish.
