Win a Lunch with Maggie Beer at the Miele Gallery in South Australia.

Competition Terms and Conditions:

The competition (Promotion) is conducted by Maggie Beer Products (the Promoter), ABN 51080083058, of 2 Keith Street, Tanunda, SA, 5352 and Miele Australia Pty Ltd (the Promoter), ABN 96 005 635 398, of 1 Gilbert Park Drive, Knoxfield VIC 3180

Entry is free and open to all Australian residents over 18 years of age, or those over the age of 16 with a guardian’s permission, who enter the promotion after commencement of the competition on March 1st 2010 and before the final judging of the competition on July 31st 2010, except employees (& their immediate families) of the Promoter & companies associated with the Promotion.

Maggie Beer Products reserves the right to withdraw the competition earlier than advertised and winners will be drawn from entries received to that time.

Information on prizes & how to enter form part of these Terms & Conditions. Entry to the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

The Promotion commences at 9:00am AEST on Monday 1st March 2010 & concludes at 11:59 pm AEST on Saturday 31st July 2010 (Promotional Period).

Entries received outside of the Promotion Period will not be eligible to win prizes with the Promotion.

To enter, you must be a Maggie Beer Food Club member or register online at www.maggiebeer.com.au (the Website) as a food club member, and submit an entry, answering the competition question “In 50 words or less, if you had the chance to invite Maggie to your table, what Miele product would you choose to cook your favourite recipe and why?”

You may only submit one entry per competition month, which means an individual can only enter the competition a maximum of 5 times during the promotional period.

Each valid entry will be evaluated against the judging criteria (Criteria) by the Promoter and campaign judge Maggie Beer (Judge).

The Criteria will involve a combination of the following: story behind the menu selection, appreciation of fresh food ingredients and Maggie Beer’s philosophy, originality and creativity.

Entries must be of an original nature, and any entries which are deemed to be not of an original nature or plagarised will be automatically disqualified.

From all valid entries submitted during the Promotional Period, five entries will be judged as the competition winner (Main Prize Winners), winning the Main Prize consisting of a Lunch with Maggie Beer at the Miele Gallery in South Australia and a trip to Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop.

There is a limit of one entry per entrant per competition month. Maggie Beer Products reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that fails to comply with this restriction.

The competition will run over a 22 week period from March 1st 2010 until July 31st 2010.

Within this period there will be 5 separate competitions (competition month). The entry question will be the same for each separate competition month.

At the end of each competition month 1 winner will be judged and will be awarded a prize valued at $157.95, including 1 x Maggie’s Kitchen Cookbook and 1 x Miele Care Products Package. Competition Months may deviate from standard Calendar Months.

Prizes will be given to the recipients at the winners’ lunch.

The winners will be notified by phone and/or email at the end of each competition month and their names and competition answers will be published on the Maggie Beer website and in the Food Club newsletter.

An individual can only win once throughout the 5 month promotional periods. Entrants who have won a previous month can enter again, however will not be determined the winner.

At the end of the promotional period on July 31st 2010, the 5 individual competition winners will be invited to South Australia to have lunch with Maggie Beer at the Miele Gallery. The 5 winners and their guest will be offered 1 night accommodation in the Barossa Valley. The winners will also be invited to visit Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop.

The selection of the major prize winners will be based on Maggie Beer’s professional judgment of the competition responses. The winners will be judged at Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop, Pheasant Farm Road, Nuriootpa, South Australia on the nominated date, following the end of each competition month.

This competition is a Game of Skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners. All entries will be judged based on creativity & originality. The best valid entry, as determined by the judges, will win. Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

By joining Maggie Beer’s Food Club you agree to receive exclusive offers from maggiebeer.com.au. Your information will not be shared with any third parties and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Entries which belong to people who are not Maggie Beer Food Club members will not be eligible.

You must be a food club member at the time of entering. You may not enter the competition and then join Maggie Beer’s Food Club.

The Main Prize of the competition is Lunch with Maggie Beer in August 2010 and includes two (2) Economy Class return tickets from your closest capital city in Australia to Adelaide, South Australia. The total prize value of this promotion is $4,500 and includes return airfares, airport transfers, one (1) night accommodation at a Barossa Valley Bed and Breakfast, lunch at the Miele Gallery in South Australia and a visit to the Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop for the winner and their chosen guest. This prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. There will be no variation on the chosen date for the lunch.

Maggie Beer Products will arrange bookings for airfares, airport transfers to the Miele Gallery and to and from the Barossa Valley and one (1) night’s accommodation at a Barossa Valley Bed and Breakfast.

Travel insurance, spending money, extra meals, extra accommodation and all other ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
Maggie Beer Products takes no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prizes.

The Main Prize Winners will be determined by and notified at the end of every competition month. There will be 1 winner at the end of every competition month who will automatically become a Main Prize Winner.

The Monthly winners will be judged by Maggie Beer and announced on the dates below:

Tuesday 6th April 2010 – March Winner announced
Thursday 6th May 2010 – April Winner announced
Tuesday 8th June 2010 – May Winner announced
Tuesday 6th July 2010 – June Winner announced
Wednesday 4th August 2010 – July Winner announced

Monthly competition winners will all receive a signed copy of Maggie’s Kitchen valued at $59.95 and a Miele Care Products pack valued at $98.00

All Prize winners will be notified by phone and/or email.
Recipes and Winner’s names will be published on the Promoter's websites www.maggiebeer.com.au and will feature in the Food Club newsletter.

If for whatever reason a winner cannot attend the lunch in August 2010, then Maggie Beer Products and Miele Australia reserve the right to judge the other entries from that promotional month and choose a replacement winner.

Maggie Beer Products and Miele Australia also reserve the right not to select a replacement winner if one (1) of the initial winners cannot make the lunch in August 2010.

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify ineligible entrants.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications
that may arise from the prize winnings.

This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the Main Prize Winners and the Monthly winners.

The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter will not be responsible for any lost, late or misdirected entries.

To ensure that an entry is not lost, late or misdirected please ensure that your entry is sent to amandas@maggiebeer.com.au.

The promoter takes no responsibility for entries that are sent to other email addresses belonging to other members of the promoter’s organization.

Prizes are as specified & cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for alternative items or cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for variation in prize values. Where a Prize is unavailable, the Promoter retains the right to substitute the Prize with a Prize of equal or greater value.

All competition entries, including content, menu story and submitted image become the property of the Promoter. By entering this Promotion, each entrant consents to the Promoter using the entrant's entry and photograph in future advertising or promotional materials at the Promoter's discretion, without any reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant.

All registered Website members consent to the information they submit being entered into the Maggie Beer Food Club database & that the Promoter may use this information in any media, for future promotional, marketing & publicity purposes without any reference or compensation to the entrant. All personal details of the entrants shall be stored and administered by the Promoter. A request to access/update/correct any information should be directed to the Promoter by emailing amandas@maggiebeer.com.au or calling 03 9572 4267 during business hours.

Maggie Beer Products and Miele Australia do not take any responsibility for individuals who access any promotional material after the promotion has finished.

Maggie Beer Products and Miele Australia reserve the right to extend the promotion without notice.

Maggie Beer Products and Miele Australia reserve the right to extend a competition month without any notice.

The Promoter & its associated companies will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of receiving, taking or using any Prize. By receiving, taking or using any Prize, each winning entrant is deemed to release the Promoter & its associated companies from any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Changes To This Policy:

We will occasionally update our Privacy Policy in order to ensure the highest level of protection for our users and to comply with legislation. We will not change the use of previously collected personal information unless legally required to do so.

Returns Policy:

If maggiebeer.com.au supplies an incorrect product, please notify us on 0885624477 immediately and we will arrange a credit for that item. We do not exchange or refund for change of mind or individual tastes. In the instance that a product may have exceeded its use by date when received, or is faulty in some way, we will provide a full refund once the product has been returned to us by COD (cash on delivery).
