Maggie Beer

October 18, 2017

The original Beer family home ground has added another new chapter - The Farm Eatery & Experience Centre; a beautifully crafted collective of eating and hands on experience, sharing the Pheasant Farm location with Maggie's renowned Farm Shop. And the official countdown has begun - they'll be opening their doors on Monday 23rd October and we can't wait to show you the modern, casual eatery with purpose built experience centre!

With a fresh design, especially created to encompass the unique line up on offer, The Farm Eatery & Experience Centre houses ‘The Eatery’, where chef Tim Bourke shares a daily menu, inspired by his collaboration with Maggie.

For those wanting a hands-on experience of their time at The Farm, regular cooking classes are run at the Experience Centre, with 12 Miele equipped kitchen stations available to sharpen your skills in a particularly Barossan way.

Also available for those seeking a sensory experience beyond a full belly, is the Gin School, in conjunction with Durand Distillery. Gin School guests have the hands-on opportunity to make their very own gin. Equipped with 12 individual 5L traditional copper stills, each 4 hour session allows ‘students’ to choose their botanicals to brew, bottle and label their own batch of gin to take home. And while the still does its work, lunch is included.

The Farm Eatery & Experience Centre offers a next generation experience of the Barossa, firmly based on the traditions of region and season Maggie has always championed.
