Prep time: 10 mins / Cook time: 15 mins.
METHOD

Cut the apple in half and then cut each half into 3 wedges and remove the core, then drizzle with Verjuice, set aside.

Place a large non-stick pan over a medium heat, add butter and once nut brown add the olive oil to inhibit the butter from burning. Add the onion to the pan and cook for 5 minutes or until beginning to be caramelised.

Pat the apple wedges dry and add to the pan and cook for 3 to 4 minutes till the apple wedges are golden.

Push apples and onions to one side and add the black sausage and cook for a further 2 minutes on each side of the cut black sausage , then deglaze with apple cider

All my recipes are cooked with a fan forced (convection) oven, increase by 20°C for conventional. My recipes use 20ml tablespoons and 5ml teaspoons, look carefully at your measuring spoons as American spoons are often on sale and they are a smaller measure. All produce are medium sized and all eggs are from an extra large carton (700g).
