Marsanne Viognier Roussane
This Classical style wine is a beautifully round and full-bodied blend of Barossa Valley fruit, with fresh aromas of grapefruit and citrus zest following through with ripe pineapple on the palate. A crisp, mineral acid finish from the flint of the Viognier fruit culminates in a wine that is perfectly suited to accompany either savoury or sweet dishes. This full bodied white wine will be adored by Chardonnay lovers.
Marsanne, Viognier and Roussanne are the classic grape varieties of the Northern Rhone Valley in France. Marsanne and Roussanne are blended with Viognier to add acidity and perfume to the wine, giving it a greater complexity of flavour and texture. The grapes for this stand out wine of the Pheasant Farm label are sourced exclusively from Maggie and Colin Beer’s home estate, in the Barossa Valley.
