The earthy sweetness of pickled figs adds zing to salads and is the perfect accompaniment to terrine or any cold cuts of smoked meat.
Serve these figs with poultry, cold roast pork or properly smoked leg ham. To take the figs to another level, cut in half and toss in some nut brown butter to caramelise.
