Cabernet Lamb Burgers

Step 1: Mix lamb mince, pork mince, bread crumbs, Cabernet Paste, chopped parsley, cumin and diced onion together.

Step 2: Beat the egg briefly and stir into mince mixture.

Step 3: Season with salt and pepper to taste and form into burgers. This will make 4 large burgers, approximately 2cm thick.

Step 4: Heat barbecue to medium heat. Brush grill with oiled brush. Cook for 3 - 4 minutes on first side and then turn over and cook another 3 - 4 minutes.

Step 5: Allow to rest a few minutes before assembling the burger.

  1. 300g lamb mince
  2. 200g pork mince
  3. 50g 1/2 a tub Cabernet Paste chopped into small cubes
  4. 2 ½ tbspn flat leaf parsley chopped
  5. ½ tspn ground cumin
  6. 60g ½ brown onion finely diced
  7. 60g 1 eggs
  8. To taste salt flakes
