I purchased this hamper as
"I purchased this hamper as a tiny "thank you" to my wonderful son and daughter-in-law who have been so caring and supportive as I moved from my home of 16 years into an apartment in a retirement village. No gift would ever have repaid them for all they have done (and are still doing) for me. . . . . Their delight when I gave the hamper to them and the tears and hugs that went with it warmed my heart - I knew it was "just right" as they love Maggie's products, cheese and good red wine. My only slight disappointment was that I tried so hard to buy some "sticky figs" to go with the hamper and couldn't find anywhere from which to purchase them. I had thought Boccacio Cellars would be sure to stock them, and unfortunately Leo's have closed down, so I couldn't add the figs to my gift - I'll keep trying to find them. I couldn't write a better review - love Maggie, love her products and love the joy they bring to both the purchaser and the receiver."

Really disappointing
"The hamper arrived on the nominated day, late in the afternoon. On opening, it was obvious that the chiller brick had defrosted and leaked through the chiller bag, which was saturated. It is now permanently water stained and unsuitable for gifting. One of the soft cheeses had a very short use by date, and needs to be consumed within a week, so also unsuitable for gifting. The company informed me that all their cheeses have short use by dates. That should have been made clear in the product description. Very disappointing, especially when the supermarket replacement I purchased has a use by date of mid January."
