Maggie Beer books and biography

Maggie was awarded the Centenary Medal for her service to Australian society through cooking and writing in 2001 and, in 2010, became a Member of the Order of Australia (AM). When she is not cooking, appearing as co-host on The Cook and The Chef, The Great Australian Bake Off, or as guest chef on MasterChef, Maggie can be found in her garden or writing books. Maggie is the author of more than ten wonderfully inspiring cookbooks including: Maggie's Christmas Cookbook, Maggie's Harvest Cookbook, Spring Harvest Cookbook, Summer Harvest Cookbook, Autumn Harvest Cookbook, Winter Harvest Cookbook, Maggie Beer Lantern Cookery Classics, Maggie's Verjuice Cookbook, Maggie's Table, Maggie's Kitchen Cookbook, Maggie's Orchard and Maggie's Farm, and is co-author of the bestselling Stephanie Alexander & Maggie Beer's Tuscan Cookbook. For anyone who is passionate about good food, these recipe compendiums rank among the best cookbooks of all time. Maggie's hope is for every Australian (young, old and in between!) to have a good food life and enjoy quality, seasonal cooking every day.
