Maggie’s Farm Shop
A delicious picnic fare menu
It might be a coffee and cake or sweetmeats; our ice-creams or a picnic basket with a glass of wine - with tables available inside and out, weather dependent, of course. During harvest time, we have fresh fruit and cider from the orchard too, and so there is always something to share.
So many things to try!
We encourage our visitors to wander around the Farm Shop and take the opportunity to taste all the products; in fact this is the only place in Australia where you have the chance to see and try just about every product we make.
If you’d like to know more about these two ingredients that are so vital to Maggie’s cooking and so versatile; Verjuice and Vino Cotto, there is a free demonstration led by one of the Farm Shop team to show you just how simply you can add that special quality to your cooking too.
Open every day

We'll soon be in the midst of a freshen up at the Farm Shop, with renovations taking place in and around the Pheasant Farm from May 18th-June 5th. In the meantime, and throughout our 'work in progress', it will be business as usual at the Farm Shop, so please don't change your plans to visit us across that time - we'll still be sharing Maggie's delicious picnic fare menu and gourmet range of products, and offering our daily Verjuice cooking demonstrations, as always - we just might have a little less space to do so for a while. Nothing wrong with more of a huddle in the cold weather though we say!
Please note, we do not take any lunch bookings at all at the Farm Shop. If you would like to visit the Farm Shop, it is only necessary to book if you are part of a group bus tour, in which case bookings are absolutely essential for any buses carrying a maximum of 25 people.
Peak times at the Farm Shop
There are peak times of the year at the Farm Shop. Immediately post-Christmas, Easter and every school holiday. Maggie always wants every person who visits to feel a real sense of hospitality, no matter how busy we might be, and that we are continually striving to find ways to give a great experience no matter the pressures, but nor is she interested in getting larger to accommodate such frenetic times. The Farm Shop is where it all started for Maggie and even at its busiest it has the feeling of home for her and she won’t spoil that by expanding.

A note on bus tours
We would like everyone to know that any such bus tour is not controlled by us nor endorsed by us in any way.
Due to the limited space and amenities we are only able to accommodate any bus tour that has booked in advance and accepted our limitations.
The only times available for groups are limited to morning sessions between 10.30am and 12.30 p.m. and only for a group of 25 or less on days we are not already fully booked.
Unfortunately, we cannot take any bus tour bookings at all during the school holidays.
We are unable to take large bus groups as we want every customer of yours and ours always to have a great experience.
